Kate Michaels as Diane
American Kate Michaels received her voice and acting training in San Francisco, California and from the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria. She was the 1994 recipient of the Irma Cooper Scholarship for opera studies in Austria. She performs as an actor and is a cross-over genre soloist for classical, jazz, and musical theater. Performance credits include: Evita/Evita; Hunyak the Hungarian/Chicago; Annie/Annie Get Your Gun; Luisa/The Fantasticks; Beauty/Beauty and the Beast; and Audrey/Little Shop of Horrors. Acting credits include: Himmelrand, A Room with a View, Walking the Dog, Greenlight, and Between Mouthfuls. Kate’s original production Just Marilyn features songs and stories from the heyday of the big band era, and in particular the songs Marilyn Monroe sang. Kate’s recordings include Just Marilyn and The Best Things in Life. She also adjudicates for different schools and programs coordinating workshops and Master classes internationally.
